As part of CaixaForum Madrid’s public program, we were invited to lead a Design Summer School that explores collaborative learning through making, reflecting, and experimenting. The workshop is conceived as an open laboratory, where students are introduced to two construction systems that will serve as both constraint and catalyst for design.

Over the course of the week, participants are encouraged to engage critically and playfully with these systems, pushing their creative boundaries while responding directly to the architecture of the Herzog & de Meuron building itself. The aim is not only to design and build, but to activate the space -challenging its forms, flows, and materials through a collective act of spatial thinking and doing.
