As part of the Wet Dreams Show curated by Marina Otero, a collection of images and a sculpture, are gathered after the installation Deep Spa, that happened earlier in 2022 in La Casa Encendida.
The exhibition highlights design practices that adopt decolonial, queer, and hydrofeminist approaches, emphasising forms of embodiment, solidarity, and desire in relation to bodies of water and fluid matter.
Wet Dreams speaks of healing, toxic, and residual waters, of bodily fluids. It invites rains, rivers, reservoirs, and muds. It calls upon the sewers, the valves that regulate flows, the hidden conduits within walls, basements, and ceilings. It invokes the world of hoses and pipes. It also evokes the openings through which liquids enter and soak our worlds, as well as the leaks, drips, and occasional overflows of what has been repressed.
