This research describes the city with parameters that aim to move away from the city as a machine for productive living. It consists of a reconstruction of Alicante that establishes affections with the smaller urbanisms, the survivors of the functional city.

It consists of three blocks that grow simultaneously and, throughout their paths, generate both bodily and material relationships. The first, the living architectures, the centenary trees, the ficus. The second, the dead architectures, the buried concrete, the forgotten bunkers. And lastly, or to begin with, the urban body, the place of imaginaries, where technological inhabitants coexist with untamed nature: the underground. How do cities care for us?

The intention is to read between the lines of urbanism, taking into account the privileges of the city and the materialities in which these are manifested through elements that repeat and form a network. Elements of protection, elements related to survival.
